The November Nests.  I have been collecting nests in November along the river- when the season has changed and the colour of the landscape has faded to the cool ice tones for winter- and creating wax sculptures based on their forms.  I am also working on large wax forms that will later be cast in glass as well.  I am using a lost wax process for casting glass and these are the first small sculptures (about 10inches x 6inches) that I have begun to experiment with.
