The Post Modern Housewife is based on notions of time, accumulation and progression. The printing process mimics these notions through a series of marks and overlapping colours that gradually build upon each other forming an interlocking ring pattern. In eight stages, a set of marks were carved into the block, after each stage was printed I would set a portion of the prints aside. I continued this process of carving, printing and setting prints aside until the pattern evolved, becoming more complex at each stage. The pattern references the double wedding ring quilt pattern, which has been used within this craft to commemorate a wedding. I have appropriated this pattern as a symbol of marriage, which now has been redefined in Canada to include same sex couples

	Several artists have been commissioned for site specific exhibitions in a series of six vacant bungalows slated for demolition in the Young and Finch area. 	Kaleidoscope 2.5 feet x 40 feet Permanent Public Art Work The St. Clair Avenue West Transit Improvements Project for Public Artwork due for installation in spring 2010. Kaleidoscope is a digital collage that will be produced in glass and installed on the roof of a transit shelter along the St. Clair route.

	The Crow’s Nest dimensions variable, shown at 8 feet diameter. This is a site specific wall installation comprised of wax crow sculptures and multiple wooden elements that have been coated with pigmented wax. The shapes are linked together and protrude from the wall, creating a fragmented dome. Currently at the Marcedes-Benz head office in the Toronto.
